Wanda B. Garrison, 83, of Wileyville, WV died Saturday, September 20, 2008 in Sistersville Nursing and Rehab Center in Sistersville surrounded by her family.
She was born July 10, 1925 at Littleton,WV a daughter of the late Charles Stottlemire and Bessie Haines Stottlemire.
Wanda was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are one son, Olen C. Gorby, of Florida; two daughters, Wilma Morris of Wileyville and Mary Jane Cain of Sewell, New Jersey; one step-son, Larry Garrison of Wellsburg; three step-daughters, Judy Keller of Weirton, Connie Miller of New Martinsville, and Tammy Sapp of Texas; a half-brother, Albert Stottlemire of Littleton; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Garrison, and three brothers, William Stottlemire, Homer Stottlemire, and Bennie Stottlemire; and a step-son, Danny Garrison.
Friends will be received at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 7-9 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Tuesday with the Evangelist Jeff Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson-Bethel Cemetery at Littleton.
