William Anderson, 73, of Fairmont, WV died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 in Fairmont Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 13, 1942 at Wana, a son of the late William Pearl Anderson and Helen Lucille Rebold Anderson.
William worked in the construction industry doing shaft work and drilling work.
Surviving are two sons, William L. Anderson of Centerville, PA and James Anderson and his wife Rochelle of Prosperity, PA; one daughter, Tracy Yorty of Centerville, PA; one brother, Danny Ray Anderson of Plum Run; four sisters, Charlotte Saunders of Fairmont, Nancy Wilson of Jakes Run, Janet Brummage of Pentress, and Debbie Anderson of Fairmont; six grandchildren, Nicholas Yorty, Alicia Winterhalter, Lee McKenrick, Nikki Johnson, Samantha McKenrick, and Morgan Henderson; and three great-grandchildren, Aailyah Johnson, Kalee Johnson, and Peyton McKenrick.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, August Anderson and Robert Anderson; and by one sister Diane Tennant.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 6-9 PM Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 PM Sunday. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
