William D. Tennant, 54, of Blacksville, WV died Wednesday, May 5, 2010 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born March 26, 1956 at Waynesburg, PA, a son of the late Everet W. Tennant and Ada Marguerite Husk Tennant.
Bill has been disabled for the past 20 years. Prior to becoming disabled he worked for the late Ralph Marsh Thomas on his dairy farm for many years. He formerly attended the Blacksville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are four sisters, Kristie Vedis of Blacksville, Donna Chase of Graysville, PA, Karen Cain of Morgantown, and Tina Salsberry of Blacksville, numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harry James Tennant, who died as an infant.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 6-8 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2:00 PM Saturday with Pastor Kevin Arkola officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Luke Cemetery at Mooresville.
