Zelda Jean Eddy, 80, of the Golden Living Center, Morgantown, formerly of Daybrook entered into paradise on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born August 28, 1928 to the late William Grant and Ina Tennant Eddy.
Zelda Jean's favorite hobbies included coloring, "writing recipes", working puzzles, and visiting with friends and family. She attended the Daybrook Church of Christ.
Surviving are her caregiver, and cousin, Fred Eddy, his wife Sally, their two children, Robbie, his fiance', Leslie Bolyard, and Danielle Eddy, all of Daybrook. Also surviving are family members of her late sister, Kathleen. In addition to relatives, many past neighbors and friends survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred "Kathleen" Venezia, and two sisters who died as infants.
Friends and family may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, from 6-8 PM Monday. A graveside service will be held at the St. Luke Cemetery on Tuesday at 10:30 AM with the Pastor Fred Eddy officiating.
