NELLIE JOHNSON

          Nellie Johnson, 87, of Jakes Run, died Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at her residence.

          Mrs. Johnson was born December 23, 1935 at Trader Run in Wetzel County.  She was a daughter of the late Wilford H. Trader and Nellie E. Hayhurst Trader.

ROBERT AARON HIXENBAUGH

          Robert “Robbie” Aaron Hixenbaugh, 38, of Burton, WV died Monday, February 20, 2023 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

          He was born January 21, 1985 at Fairmont, a son of Robert L. Hixenbaugh, Jr. and Debrah Lynn DeWalick Hixenbaugh who both survive and live at Burton.

          Robbie moved to Little Rock to work for Walmart.

JUDY A. LIPSCOMB

          Judy Annette Lipscomb, 58, of Morgantown, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 19, 2023 in Mon Medical Health Center in Morgantown.

          She was born October 10, 1964 at Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late James M. White and Barbara Eddy White.

JOSEPH MARCUS PRENDERGAST

          Joseph Marcus Prendergast, 66, of Grant Town, WV died Friday, February 10, 2023 in J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

          He was born December 13, 1956 at Littleton, WV, a son of the late Archie Prendergast and Virginia Gump Prendergast Hibbs.

JAMES D. SPRAGG

          James D. “Jim” Spragg, 85, of Hundred, WV died Friday, February 3, 2023 in WVU Medicine Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV.

          Jim was born May 29, 1937, a son of the late Denzil C. Spragg and Tersie O. Sapp Spragg Bucher.

HELEN HAYES

          Helen Ruth Hayes, 69, of Waynesburg, PA died Friday, January 27, 2023 in the Waynesburg Health Care Center in Waynesburg, PA.

          She was born November 30, 1953 at Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Sanford Adkins and Dorothy Hibert Adkins.

          Mrs. Hayes was a homemaker.

LURA JUANITA SHAFFER

          Laura Juanita Shaffer, 75, of Moundsville, WV died Friday, January 27, 2023 at her residence after a brief battle with cancer.

          She was born August 5, 1947, at Deep Valley, PA, a daughter of the late Wilbert Francis Shreve and Ora Belle Shafer Shreve.

          Lena Ann Wright, 87, of Ambridge, PA, died Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the Caring Heights Rehab Center in Coraopolis, PA.

          She was born June 12, 1935 in Daybrook, WV, a daughter of the late Terry Eddy and Lelia McCord Eddy.

JENNIFER McCOY

          Jennifer Nicole McCoy, 41, of Days Run, died Sunday, January 8, 2023 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer.

          She was born March 13, 1981 at Morgantown, a daughter of Robert Lee Tennant and Karen Calvert Tennant, who both survive of Spraggs, PA.

          Shirley Sue “Susie” Tennant, 82, of Daybrook, WV died Saturday, January 7, 2023 in the Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown.
