Debra Kay Myers Gum, 57, of Wadestown, WV passed away suddenly at her home on September 8, 2023. She was born May 14, 1966. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister who cherished her family deeply. A kind soul to anyone she met. She treated everyone she encountered with kindness and love as if she had known them their whole lives.
JAMES P. KENNEDY James Perry Kennedy, 94, of Laurel Point, formerly of the Wadestown area died on August 30, 2023 at his home. He was born October 21, 1928 at Wadestown, a son of the late Luther Jackson Kennedy and Dessie Dora (Lemley) Kennedy. He was a member of the Valley Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a retired member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #152.

Lois Rose Tustin, 80, of Hundred, WV died Wednesday, August 30, 2023 in the Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown.
She was born July 30, 1943 at Coburn, a daughter of the late Gail Ensminger and Ruth Hinerman Ensminger.
Lois was a homemaker and a member of the Sancho Church of Christ.
Marilyn Elaine Thomas (Wallace), 83, passed away on Sunday, August 27th, 2023, at her home in Knob Fork, West Virginia after a brief battle with kidney failure. She was born on December 1st, 1939, in DuBois, Pennsylvania to Wayne and Virginia (Boyer) Wallace Flanders.
NORMA JEAN “NAN” TUTTLE
Norma Jean “Nan” Tuttle, 95, of Crossroads, died Sunday, August 27, 2023 in the Personal Care at Evergreen in Waynesburg, PA. with her family by her side.
She was born December 9, 1927 at Cassville, a daughter of the late O. E. “Red” Seaman and Hazel Hamilton Seaman.
Nan was a homemaker and a member of the Miracle Run United Methodist Church.
Betty Jo Shaver died peacefully with her family by her side Thursday, August 24th at Morgantown Healthcare Center (Stonerise) in Morgantown, WV. She was formerly from Wadestown, WV in Monongalia County. She was born July 13, 1923, in Grant Town, West Virginia reaching the milestone of 100 years. She was a daughter of the late Carl Everett and Nellie Barr Tennant.
NICHOLAS EUGENE FLETCHER
Nicholas Eugene Fletcher, 69, of Hundred, WV died Thursday, August 24, 2023 at his residence following a battle with liver cancer.
He was born at Fairmont, a son of the late Clifford E. Fletcher and Mona Lee Booth Fletcher.
Mr. Fletcher was a retired coal miner.
BILLIE JEAN STATLER Billie Jean Statler, 77, of Waynesburg, PA and formerly of Carmichaels, PA died Sunday, August 20, 2023 in the Waynesburg Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born May 6, 1946 at Spraggs, PA, a daughter of the late William D. Rogers and Dorothy Pauline King Rogers. Mrs. Statler formerly worked as a Registration Clerk at Uniontown Hospital for many years.
SCOTT DAVID CUMMINS Scott David Cummins, 29, of Statler Run, WV went home to see his Lord and Savior on August 16, 2023. He became engaged to the gorgeous love of his life, fiancée, Becca King, on Monday, August 14. He was born on December 29, 1993 at Mon General Hospital.
Byron Dee Tennant of Core, WV passed away peacefully in his home on August 4th, 2023 at the age of 72 after a long battle with cancer.
Byron is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Bernice, his son Dr. Christopher Tennant, his brother David Tennant, his sister Kay Fordyce, his grandchildren Luke Nelson Tennant and Julia Rose Tennant, and families, and his dog, Elvis.
