GAROLD C. POSTLETHWAIT

          Garold C. Postlethwait, 68, of Knob Fork, WV died Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in the Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville.

          Garold was born October 7, 1955 at Wheeling, WV.  He was the youngest of five children born to the late Clarence T. and M. Deloris Teagarden Postlethwait.

MILDRED PARKER

        Mildred Irene Parker, 97, of Crossroads Community, Fairview, WV died Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at her residence.

        She was born February 7, 1926 at Cassville, a daughter of the late O. E. “Red” Seaman and Hazel Hamilton Seaman.

WALTER NEIL LONGWELL

          Walter “Neil” Longwell, 87, was called from his home to Christ on October 28, 2023.  He was born April 23, 1936 to parents Jesse (Church) Longwell and Albert C. Longwell of Littleton.  He came from a big family of 5 brothers, (Warren, Harold, Herbert, Robert & Dallas), 1 half-brother, (Gene) and 2 sisters, (Gladys & Susie) all deceased.

JEFFREY M. JOLLIFF

          Jeffrey Marc Jolliff, 62, of Triadelphia, WV died October 24, 2023 in Liza’s Place in Wheeling.

          He was born August 8, 1961 in Fairmont, a son of the late William E. Jolliff and Betty Pyles Jolliff.

          Jeff worked as a heavy equipment operator.

LANETTE McDIFFITT

          Lanette McDiffitt, 61, of Georgetown Community, Cameron, WV died Monday, October 16, 2023 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

          She was born February 1, 1962 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Blair Neely and Erma Bissett Mackey and Marvin Earl Mackey.

          Lanette was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

MATILDA WRIGHT

          Matilda Ann Wright, 79, of Littleton, WV died Friday, October 13, 2023 in the Morgantown Healthcare Center.

          She was born January 13, 1944 at Wadestown, a daughter of the late Noah Wright and Cecil Jones Wright.

          Mrs. Wright was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Fellowship Church at Wana.

Joann “Jody” Garrison Staggers King, 86, of Wadestown, WV passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on October 4, 2023.  Jody was born on January 24, 1937, a daughter of the late Adelaide Garrison Staggers. 

CARLA H. NORRIS Carla H. Norris, 80, of Littleton, WV died Monday, October 2, 2023 in the Cameron Healthcare Center. Mrs. Norris was born August 20, 1943 at Tacoma, Washington a daughter of the late Carl Cook and Helene Mildon Cook. Carla was as a bookkeeper for a hospital in Tacoma for many years and retired from that position.

JAMES C. BALL

                  James C. Ball, 97, of St. Mary’s WV died Saturday, September 30, 2023 in the Heritage at St. Mary’s.

          He was born June 28, 1926 at Clinch Port, Scott County, Virginia, a son of the late Noah J. Ball and Cora Barrett Ball.

DARLENE MILLER

          Darlene Ann Miller, 60, of Littleton, WV died Friday, September 29, 2023 at her residence.

          She was born July 18, 1963, a daughter of the late Homer Stottlemire and Mildred Teagarden Stottlemire.
