Jack L. Shriver, 89, of Wadestown, died Sunday July 30, 2017 at his residence.
He was born July 3, 1928 at Wana, a son of the late Frank G. Shriver and Grace Yost Shriver.
Mr. Shriver was a retired coal miner having retired with 13 years of service.He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and he was a member of the West Warren Baptist Church.

Derek Lee Pletcher, 8 months and 10 days old, infant son of Denton F. Pletcher, Jr. and Patrisha Shreve of Hundred, WV died Friday, June 9, 2017 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born in Morgantown on September 30, 2016.
Josiah Gregory Bogard, one day old infant son of Matthew Charles Bogard and Zori Alethea Keener Bogard of Vienna, West Virginia died May 15, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio.
Terrance “Terry” Phillips, 49, of Littleton, WV died Saturday, May 13, 2017.
He was born January 31, 1968 at Fairmont, a son of Priscilla Faith Garrison Phillips, a resident of the New Martinsville Health Care Center and the late Roger K. Phillips.
Terry worked as a laborer on the railroad.
Connie Sue Stewart, 64, of Sistersville, WV died Thursday, May 11, 2017 in the Sistersville Center.
She was born February 4, 1953, at Knob Fork, a daughter of the late Charles Junior White and Pearl Ann Hostuttler White.
Carolyn J. Platzke, 87, of New Martinsville, WV died Thursday, May 4, 2017 in the New Martinsville Health Care Center.
She was born March 22, 1930, at Littleton, a daughter of the late Lee S. Plants and Margaret Sarah “Maggie” Fonner Plants.
Mrs. Platzke was baptised into the Church of Christ.
Evelyn M. Hennen, 75, of Fairmont, WV died Thursday, May 4 2017 in the Bridgeport Health Care Center in Bridgeport.
She was born September 28, 1941 at Wadestown, a daughter of the late Russell Hennen and Virgie Hamilton Hennen.
James R. Moore, 62, of Wileyville, WV died Sunday, April 30, 2017 in the Mon General Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born August 2, 1954 at Wileyville, a son of the late Norman Moore and Emma Jane Clayton Moore.
Jim was a retired mechanic and last worked for H & H Oil Field Services.He was a Baptist by faith.
Carol Ann Lemley, 79, Wadestown, WV died April 12, 2017 in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown with her family by her side.
She was born May 18, 1937 in Fairview, a daughter of the late Hobert Saunders and Dessie Parrish Saunders Norris.
Carol was a homemaker.
