William H. Tennant, 73 of Blacksville, WV passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, January 19, 2018.
He was born December 26, 1944 at Miracle Run, a son of the late Wilda H. Tennant and C. Pauline Kinty Tennant.
Mr. Tennant was a retired coal miner who worked at the Eastern Associated Coal Company Federal No. 2 mine on Miracle Run.

He was born April 30, 1935 at Crossroads, a son of the late Willie Fox and Elva Barr Fox.
Jim worked for many years at West Virginia Armature in Fairmont as an armature winder.He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was born April 5, 1950 at Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Robert Eck and Ethel Haines.
Mr. Haines worked for the township and also for the roads and streets department in Edgewater Park, NJ.
John was a member of the Xavier Catholic Church in Parkersburg, WV.

Edna F. Simpson, 90 of Kings Run, near Blacksville, died Sunday, January 7, 2018 in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.
She was born August 21, 1927 at Waynesburg, PA, a daughter of the late David E. Brock and Rosa Husk Brock.
Mrs. Simpson was a home maker and she was associated with the Methodist Church.

She was born February 8, 1946 at Newville, WV, a daughter of the late Buck Williams and Catherine Hamner Wade.
Mrs. Metz was a homemaker and Presbyterian by faith.

She was born November 2, 1927 at Jacobsburg, Ohio, a daughter of the late John Palmer and Emma Gorby Palmer.

Anna Ruth Moore, 94, of Blacksville, WV died Thursday, January 4, 2018 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born March 19, 1923 at Blacksville, a daughter of the late James P. Burke and Miriam “Mamie” Patterson Burke.
Mrs. Moore was retired from the United States Postal Service.She served as the Blacksville postmistress for many years.
