Mildred Louise Moore Jones, 83, of Brave, PA died Friday, October 16, 2015 at her residence. She fought a courageous battle with cancer by not letting it define her. She lived her final days to the fullest.

She was born February 16, 1932 at Jerome, PA, a daughter of the late John Thomas Moore and Birdinia Mildred Hassenpflug Moore.

Hazel Marie Watson, 76, formerly of Jollytown, PA died Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in the Washington Hospital, Washington, PA.

She was born April 23, 1939 at Wadestown, WV, a daughter of the late James A. Barr and Goldie Jones Barr.

Mrs. Watson was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.

Richard Paul Jones passed away on October 8, 2015 in the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, of complications following cardiac bypass surgery. He was 66 years old.

Richard, known as Rick or “Ricky” to his family and friends, was born in Fairview on December 11, 1948.

On October 8, 2015 Robert (Bob) Berry, better known as Pap or Pappy by his family passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side.

He is survived by his loving wife Gail DeVine Berry. They had been married for 64 years and lived in Daybrook most of those years. He is also survived by a sister, Jean Wise, and a brother Fred Berry and his wife Barbara.

William Albert “Bill” Berry, 80, of Orrville, Ohio, formerly of the Hundred area died Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, following a period of declining health.

Sara Louise “Sally” Ammons, 66, of Crossroads Community, Wana, WV died Monday October 5, 2015 at her residence.

She was born August 25, 1949 at Burton, a daughter of the late Richard Bartrug and Lucille Cumpston Bartrug.

Seneca Jolene McDiffitt, 3 days old, of Littleton, WV died Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Fairmont Regional Medical Center.

She was born September 30, 2015 at Fairmont, WV, a daughter of Bryan Watson and Rachel McDiffitt.

Carl Steven Raber, 51, of Waynesburg, PA died Friday, October 2, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Steve was born April 7, 1964 at Albany, Georgia, a son of Juanita Rebold Raber of Spraggs, PA and the late Carl E. Raber, Jr.

Mr. Raber was a retired ironworker.

Dorothy J. Tennant, 91, of Crossroads Community, Wadestown, WV, died Thursday, October 1, 2015 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.

She was born April 30, 1924 at Brave, PA, a daughter of the late Leroy Cumberledge and Fern Haught Cumberledge.

Mrs. Tennant was a retired aide and clerk from Monongalia General Hospital.

Billy Joe Stiles, 82, of Katy Road, Fairmont, WV died Sunday, September 27, 2015 at his residence.

He was born September 26, 1933, at Fairview, a son of the late William Henry Stiles and Nila Alice Mitchell Stiles.

Mr. Stiles was a district foreman for the Mannington District of Carnegie Natural Gas Company. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army.
