CATHERINE ZELEZNIK

            Catherine Zeleznik, 93, of Wana, WV died Wednesday, May, 22, 2019 in the Mapleshire Nursing and Rehab Center in Morgantown.

            Local survivors include her daughter, Alberta Clovis and her husband Chris, with whom Catherine made her home.

            Services will be held at the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home Fairchance, PA.

            Lisa Dawn Sollars, 46, of Daybrook, WV passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.  She was born August 30, 1972, a daughter of John “J.D.” Ammons and the late Sara “Sally” Bartrug Ammons.

DOROTHY G RABER

            Dorothy G. Raber, 80, of Mannington, WV died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 in the Clarksburg Nursing and Rehab Center.

            She was born August 10, 1938 in Wadestown, WV, a daughter of the late Kenneth Price and Goldie Roupe Price.

            Dorothy worked at various jobs during her lifetime.  Mainly she worked as a sales clerk or cashier.

SHERLENE PHILLIPS

          Sherlene Phillips, 82, of Wileyville, WV died Friday, May 17, 2019 at her residence.

            She was born April 26, 1937 at Altus, Oklahoma, a daughter of the late Sherwood Tigert and Margie Gray Tigert.

CHARLES W. “BUD” LONG

          Charles W. “Bud” Long, 96, of Hundred, WV died Friday, May 10, 2019 at his residence.

            He was born April 20, 1923 at Fairmont, a son of the late Charles Rockford Long and Mima Mae Hostutler Long.

EVELYN WHARTON

            Evelyn Lee “Tina” Wharton, 72, of Littleton, WV died Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.

            She was born July 13, 1946 at Fort Dix, NJ, a daughter of the late Stanton Braddock and Edna Powell Braddock.

ELIZABETH ANN CROSS

            Elizabeth Ann Cross, 61, of Waynesburg, PA died Saturday, March 23, 2019 in the Washington Hospital, Washington, PA.

            She was born May 21, 1957 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late John Glendenning and Virginia Shaver Glendenning.

            Ms. Cross worked as a cashier and sales clerk.

DOROTHY MOORE

            Dorothy L. Moore, of Moundsville, WV formerly of Hundred, WV died Monday, March 4, 2019 in the Continuous Care Center of Wheeling Hospital.

            She was the daughter of the late Samuel Williams and Ottie McCabe Williams.

LUCY STEELE

            Lucy M. Steele, 86, of Hundred, WV died Monday, February 25, 2019 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.

            Mrs. Steele was born February 25, 1933 in Harrison County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Alton C. “Spider” Fairfax and Tempa Marie Davis Fairfax.

Betty Jean Oliver, age 91, of Cohutta, Georgia and formerly of Porters Falls, WV, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carl Oliver; parents, Friend and Mary Staley; 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
