Joseph M. Ritter, 74, of Core, WV died Sunday, April 13, 2014 at his residence.
He was born September 26, 1939 at Mt. Morris, a son of the late Cecil L. Ritter and Nellie Jane Barrickman Ritter.
Mr. Ritter was a retired boilermaker.
Per his request his body was cremated. There was no services

Betty Jane Keifline, 91, of (Georgetown Community) Cameron, WV died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at her residence.
She was born September 3, 1922 at Johnstown, PA, a daughter of the late Daniel Emeigh.
Mrs. Keifline worked as a nurses's aide at Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, PA for many years.
Betty was lutheran by faith.
Artha Mae Sturm, 95, of Hundred, WV died April 2, 2014 at her residence.
She was born May 27, 1918 at (Seven Pines Community) Mannington, WV a daughter of the late Albert Cline Woods and Charlotte Postlethwait Woods.
Mrs Sturm was a retired cook from Hundred Grade School and retired with 14 years of service. She formerly worked at Westinghouse for 7 years.
Sandra Lynn Butcher Cunningham, 69, of Bridgeport, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 in the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.
She was born May 15, 1944 at Hundred, WV, a daughter of the late Arthur L. Butcher and Mary Olive Lemasters Butcher.
Mrs. Cunningham worked for Hills Department Stores for many years. She was a graduate of Hundred High School.
Wanda M. Cross, 75, of New Freeport, PA died Monday, March 24, 2014 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg, PA.
She was born July 29, 1938 at Hundred, WV, a daughter of the late Dutchie Cross and Myrtle Lancaster Cross.
George Edward Reel, Jr., 51, of Core, WV died March 20, 2014.
He was born September 4, 1962 at Morgantown, a son of George E. Reel of Core and the late Marlyn Irene Tennant Nichols.
Mr. Reel worked as a building contractor and he was a protestant by faith.
Kathy Sue Spitznogle, 56, of Daybrook, went to be with her mother, Thursday, March 20, 2014 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born May 26, 1956 at Morgantown, a daughter of Herbert M. Spitznogle of Mooresville and the late Bernice Hillen Spitznogle Everly.
Ms. Spitznogle loved to collect Boyds Bears and her favorite music was the Hokey Pokey.
Michelle Dawn McCord Tuttle, 37, of Daybrook, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her home.
She was born May 25, 1976 in Fairmont, the only daughter of Ronnie McCord and Sharon Finch McCord of Daybrook.
Catherine L. Dayton, 90, of Pentress,WV died March 19, 2014 in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.
She was born August 4, 1923 at Pentess, a daughter of the late John Stewart and Jessie Dean Stewart.
Mrs. Dayton was retired from the United States Postal Service. She served as the Pentress postmaster for many years.
Audrey Levonne Smith Carrico, 82 of (Mooresville Community) Core, WV died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 while under the care of Hospice at Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.
She was born March 28, 1931 at Smithfield, PA a daughter of the late Albert Smith and Margaret Braddee Smith.
