He was born July 22, 1934 at Mason City, WV, a son of the late Eddie Roush and Bertha Roy Roush.
Al was a retired coal miner from the Blacksville #2 mine at Wana. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America District #31, Local 1702.
Bertha Jean Rider Schrecengost, 83, of Core, WV died Thursday, February 6, 2014 in the Golden Living Center in Waynesburg, PA.
She was born November 23, 1930 in Oil City, PA, a daughter of the late Dutch Rider and Margaret Rider.
Mrs. Schrecengost was an expeditor at GE Ohio Lamp for 32 years.
Monie Carl "Bill" Parker, 80, of Valparaiso, IN died February 6, 2014 at the Porter Regional Hospital of heart problems.
He was born March 25, 1933 at Jakes Run, WV a son of the late Monie Dee and Nellie Elizabeth Eddy Parker.
Monie was a graduate of Clay-Battelle High School class of 1951.
Franklin Pierce, 83, of Independence, WV, formerly of the New Freeport, PA died Saturday, January 25, 2014 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born January 11, 1931 at New Freeport, PA, a son of the late George Dewey Pierce and Huldah Kathern Warrick Pierce.
Russell Junior Price, 79, of Morgantown, formerly of the Wadestown area, died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at his residence.
He was born October 2, 1934 at Wadestown, a son of the late Russell Price and Orpha M. Cross Price.
Vito Palumbo, 88, of Hundred, WV died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at his residence.
At the request of the deceased there will not be any services.
His body will be cremated.
He is survived by his wife, Gabrielle Micklich Palumbo.

Herbert Carl Rice, 79, of Kodol Community, Littleton, WV died Thursday, January 16, 2014 in the New Martinsville Health Care Center in New Martinsville, WV.
He was born November 15, 1934 at Big Run, a son of the late Virgil B. Rice and Goldie Mary Williams Rice.
Mr. Rice was a veteran of the United States Navy and a self employed handyman.
He was a protestant by faith.
Michael McDougal, 63, of Littleton, WV died January 14, 2014 at his residence.
His body is still being held by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Charleston, WV pending DNA testing.

She was born May 28, 1925 near Burton, WV, a daughter of the late James Roupe and Millie May Crouser Roupe.
Mrs. Stoneking was a homemaker and a member of the Grandview United Methodist Church, Garrison, PA.
Naomi enjoyed cooking and being funny.
James Edward Keifline, III, 72 of (Georgetown Community) Cameron, WV died Thursday, January 9, 2014 at his residence.
He was born June 8, 1941 at Johnstown, PA, a son of Betty Emeigh Keifline of Georgetown and the late James Edward Keifline, Jr.
