Neil W. Snider, 74, of Hundred, WV died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

He was born June 17, 1937 at Hundred, a son of the late Lloyd E. Snider and Mary M. Farrell Snider.

Mr. Snider was a retired cable splicer from Alltel Corp. He faithfully worked for the company for 27 years.

Challen Edward Taylor, 91, a resident of the Neighborhood of Tellico Village, Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully the morning of Tuesday, October 4, 2011. He was a member of the Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church for thirty years and had served as an elder in previous Presbyterian churches throughout his lifetime. Challen was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, as a 32nd degree Mason.

Ernest Henry Rack, III, 65, of Daybrook, WV passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at his residence.

The son of Elsie Rack of Poughkeepsie, NY and the late Ernest H. Rack, Jr. Ernie was born on May 27, 1946.

An Eagle Scout, he served in the Navy from September 1964 to November 1972 on the USS Springfield and the USS Preble.

Alma Jean Torrence, 90, of New Freeport, PA died Friday, September 23, 2011 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg, PA.

She was born June 13, 1921 at Ohio Pyle, PA, a daughter of the late Harry R. Shipley and Myrtle Freda Shipley. Mrs. Torrence was a homemaker and a protestant by faith.

Estelle Phillips, 94, of Hundred, WV died Monday, September 12, 2011 in the New Martinsville Health Care Center.

She was born December 16, 1916 at Kodol, a daughter of the late Mire L. Park and Lydia Ellen Willey Park.

Estelle was a homemaker and a baptist by faith.

Caleb Rodger Ozburn, 12, of Jakes Run, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

He was born March 20, 1999 at Morgantown, a son of Marion Rodger Ozburn,III and Donna Sue Cale Ozburn.

Caleb was a 7th grade student at Clay Battelle High School in Blacksville.

Harold Glenn Fletcher, 52, of Jakes Run, died Sunday, September 4, 2011 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.

He was born October 3, 1958 at Jakes Run, a son of James E. Fletcher of Jakes Run and the late Elizabeth Rosemary Saunders Fletcher.

Harold was a carpenter by profession.

Billy Dale Williams, 86, of Daybrook, WV died Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at his residence. He was the son of the late Willie C. Williams and Eva Yost Williams.

He was born June 23, 1925 in Daybrook.

Ralph Blaine Tennant, 83, of Mt Morris, PA died Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at his residence.

He was born March 23, 1928 at Bula, a son of the late Charles Tennant and Emma Longstreth Tennant.

Mr. Tennant was retired from Accurate Forging at Brave,PA, where he worked as a hot press operator.

Blaine attended the Blacksville Baptist Church for many years.

Thelma E. Hunt, 93, of Burton, WV died Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.

She was born December 19, 1917 at Hundred, a daughter of the late Isaac N. Cross and Eliza Elizabeth Fluharty Cross.
