George W. (Bill) Johnson, Jr., aka, "The Candy Man", 82 of Jakes Run Road, Fairview, WV died Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown surrounded by his family.

Bill was born October 5, 1928, a son of the late George W. Johnson and Pearl E. Jones Johnson.

Robert L. Nolan, 74, formerly of Hundred, died Sunday, January 30, 2011 in the Cameron Nursing and Rehab Center.

Bob was born September 9, 1936 at New Martinsville, a son of the late George Nolan and Ella Fulmar Nolan.

He was a retired truck driver and mechanic. He was a United States Army Veteran.

In 2006 Bob became a ward of the State of West Virginia.

Ruby Ann Ammons, 66, of Core, WV died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at her residence.

She was born on September 27, 1944 in Daybrook, a daughter of the late John M. Moore and Flossie Bane Moore.

Cheryl M. Daetwyler, 64, of Wadestown, WV died Friday, January 28, 2011 in the Golden Living Center in Morgantown.

She was born January 26, 1946 at Akron, Ohio, a daughter of the late Clair Philip Gearhart and Mary Matilda Reynolds Gearhart.

Mrs. Daetwyler was a homemaker and a Presbyterian by faith.

Lonnie B. Haught, 66, of Waynesburg, PA died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg, PA.

Mr. Haught was born June 13, 1944 at Wana, WV, a son of the late Lonnie Q. Haught and Ruth Ellen Cumberledge Haught.

He was a retired coal miner and a United States Army veteran who served in Vietnam.

August D. Anderson, 64, of Wadestown, WV died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at his residence.

He was born December 23, 1946 at Wana, WV, a son of the late William Pearl Anderson and Helen Lucille Rebold Anderson.

Edna Dorothy Simpson, 80, of Wana, WV died Friday, January 14, 2011 in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown, WV.

She was born June 29, 1930, a daughter of the late Wilbur D. Weakley and Harriet Bessie Berry Weakley.

Francis M. Campbell, 84, of Blacksville, WV died Monday, January 10, 2011 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.

Mr. Campbell was born June 14, 1926 at Alicia, PA, a son of the late Earl W. Campbell and Mildred Dorcas Cooley Campbell.

Sarah Irene Shriver Anderson, 95, of Waynesburg, PA died Monday, December 20, 2010 in the Evergreen Assisted Living Center in Waynesburg, PA.

She was born May 29, 1915 at Daybrook, WV, a daughter of the late James B. Tennant and Leota D. McCord Tennant.

Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and a cook most of her lifetime.

She was a member of the Waynesburg Church of Christ.

Floyd Eugene “Gene” Goodman, 63, of Blacksville , WV died Sunday, November 21, 2010 in the Louis A. Johnson VeteransHospital in Clarksburg .

Gene was born June 5, 1947 at Dutch Hill , PA , a son of the late Elton L. Goodman and Elizabeth E. Schermerhorn Goodman.

Mr. Goodman was retired from the United States Army and a Baptist by faith.
