Carl was born November 1, 1921 to Lindsay Sherman and Kizziah "Kizzie" Jane Watson Thomas on Pumpkin Run, just south of the Mason-Dixon Line in western Monongalia County.
Nancy P. Stevens, 77, of Hundred, WV, and formerly of Mannington, WV died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born September 30, 1932 at Mannington, WV, a daughter of the late James and Gladys Neer. Mrs. Stevens was a homemaker and a baptist by faith.
Nancy loved to crochet and make things for her family and friends.

Doris J. Hill, 74, of Whitehall, formerly of Wadestown, WV died Wednesday, December 9, 2009 in the Monongalia General Hospital after a 5 year battle with cancer.
She was born August 22, 1935 in Idamay, WV a daughter of the late Lee H. Patton and Minnie E. King Patton.
Doris was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.
Helen E. Garrison, 88, of Hundred, WV died Sunday, November 29, 2009 in the Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville.
She was born December 6, 1920 at Littleton, WV, a daughter of the late Otto James Bradley and Lillian Wade Bradley.
Mrs. Garrison was a homemaker and a member of the Littleton Church of God.
Rex Albert Gamble, 48, of Blacksville, WV died Friday, November 27, 2009 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born April 5, 1961 at Pottawatomie, Kansas a son of the late George W. Gamble and Betty M. Brummage Gamble Barber.
Mr. Gamble was formerly a construction worker. However, he had been unable to work because of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Thomas E. Faulkner, 75, of Waynesburg, PA died Sunday, November 15, 2009 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg, PA.
