She was the second daughter born to Frank and Alcinda Powers, who preceded her in death.

He was born April 21, 1932 at Littleton, WV a son of the late Charles Wade and Minnie Howe Wade.

Herbert L. "Zeke" Core, 77, of Hundred, WV died Thursday, September 3, 2009 in the East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
He was born May 30, 1932, a son of the late Franklin Core and Mary Jane Calvert Core.
Roger Lee Quickle, 58, of Davy Jones Road, Fairview, WV died Wednesday September 2, 2009 at his residence.
He was born November 26, 1950 at Summersville, WV a son of Ruth Johnson Quickle of Ashdown, Arkansas and the late Graden Quickle.
Roger was a Methodist by faith.
John Paul Sabo, 62, of Waynesburg, PA died Sunday, August 30, 2009 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born October 13, 1947 at Kingwood, WV a son of the late Paul Sabo and Irene McRoba Sabo.
Mr. Sabo last worked as a laborer for Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Surviving are one daughter, Stacy Eddy of Hundred.
Professor Robert E. Thomas, 87, Urbana passed away at 5:22 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
A celebration of life service was held at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1203 W. Green St., Urbana.
Professor Thomas was born Nov. 25, 1921, in Hundred, WV, the son of Garfield and Rena Main Thomas.

Joe was born Feb. 7, 1925 in Daybrook, son of the late John and Georgie Sines Tennant.
Wilson Carl Stoneking, 86, of Gilbert Ridge Road, New Freeport, PA died Saturday, August 8, 2009 in The Washington Hospital, Washington, PA.
Mr. Stoneking was born September 9, 1922 at Big Run, WV, he moved to Southwestern Pennsylvania at the age of 13. He was a son of the late John Melvin Stoneking and Delilah Rose Hutt Stoneking.
