She was born November 24, 1924 at Metz, WV, a daughter of the late William Smith and May Lemley Smith.
Mrs. Core was a homemaker and a member of the Buckeye United Methodist Church.
Christina Marie Neely Tenney, 37, of Fredericktown, PA died Saturday, January 2, 2016 in the Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Clairton, PA having fought a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born November 7, 2003 in Morgantown, WV, a son of Richard Calvert and Judy Bell Calvert.

He was born March 17, 1947 at Colfax, a son of the late Robert Harold Troy and Margaret Elizabeth Maine Troy.
Mary “Evelyn” Pope, 70, of Daybrook, died Saturday, December 19, 2015 at her residence.
She was born July 20, 1945 at Middletown, MD, a daughter of the late Caynor Newton Spurlock and Stella Mae Gobble Spurlock.
Mrs. Pope worked most of her life as a waitress. She loved to crochet, knit, and play bingo. She loved to be in the outdoors.
Evelyn was Baptist by faith.
Timothy Allen Roush, 24, of Wana, WV died Monday, December 7, 2015 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown of injuries sustained in an automobile accident earlier that day.
He was born December 4, 1991 at Morgantown, a son of Allen Roush of Wana and Tracie White Butcher and her husband Rodney of Rivesville.
Albert “Bud” Price, 82, of Mannington, WV died Thursday, December 3, 2015 at his residence.
He was born October 16, 1933 at Wadestown, WV, a son of the late Kenneth Price and Goldie M. Roupe Price.
Mr. Price was a retired welder and a United States Army Veteran who served in Germany.Bud’s favorite hobby was deer hunting.
Bud was a member of the Bula Baptist Church.
Kermit Wayne Sampson, 59, of Cameron, WV died Monday, November 30, 2015 in the Cameron Nursing and Rehab Center.
He was born November 17, 1956 in Wheeling, a son of Alma Lavone Frye Sampson of Cameron and the late Kenneth Wayne Sampson.
Mr. Sampson formerly worked in a fertilizer factory in Ohio.

Marcia Kay Core, 75, of Wadestown passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown, following a courageous battle with leukemia since 2011. Mrs. Core was born in Bula on May 7, 1940, the daughter of the late Raymond and Alma Lee Bean Russell.
