He was born July 16, 1942 at Fairmont, WV, a son of the late Samuel G. Carpenter and Nannie Mae Rager Carpenter.
Mr. Carpenter was a United States Navy veteran. In his early life he worked in the coal mines and last worked at Pennsylvania Livetock Auction in Waynesburg, PA.
Ronnie L. Rush, 68, of Wana, WV died Saturday, November 29, 2008 at his residence.
He was born September 28, 1940 at Wana, WV a son of the late Wilbur E. Rush and Violet Jones Rush.
Ronnie was a retired service man for Hope Gas Company. He was a member of Morgantown Moose Lodge #264 and a member of the Wana United Methodist Church.
Mabel M. Garrison, 92, of Littleton, WV died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at her residence.
She was born November 30, 1915 at Littleton, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Wade and Pearl Blake Wade.
Ms. Garrison was a homemaker and a member of the Littleton Senior Citizens.
Walter B. Hixenbaugh, Jr, 69, of Blacksville, WV died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on November 21, 2008.
He was born December 10, 1938, at Carmichaels, PA, a son of the late Walter B. Hixenbaugh, Sr. and Mary Thelma Stickles.
James R. Sizemore, 66, of Knob Fork, WV died Sunday, November 23, 2008 at his residence.
He was born November 14, 1942 at Mead, WV, a son of the late Alva Sizemore and Hazel Stoneman Sizemore.
Jim was a retired truck driver and a member of the Hundred Church of Christ.
Chester "Chet" vonSchmidt, 91, of St Leo Community, Wadestown, WV died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at his residence.
He was born December 20, 1916 at Edgely, PA, a son of the late Felix vonSchmidt and Pearl Allen vonSchmidt.
Chet was a farmer most of his life. He retired as a tractor and trailer driver.
Taylor Wayne Tedrow, 2 years old, of Burton, WV died Tuesday, November 18, 2008 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born April 22, 2006 at Morgantown, a son of Ralph W. Tedrow and Tina Sue Taylor Tedrow.
Taylor was born with a heart defect. He had had many heart surgeries and died from heart complications.
Margaret F. Hibbs, 92, of Wadestown, WV died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at her residence.
She was born December 14, 1915 at Fairview, WV, a daughter of the late Joseph Gump and Daisy Glover Gump.
Mrs. Hibbs was a homemaker. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church of Crossroads.
Shirley Jean Eddy, 67, of Fairview (Jakes Run Community) died Tuesday, November 11, 2008 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown following a brief illness.
Mrs. Eddy was born December 26, 1940 at Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late Arthur White and Esta Gwynn White.
Daisy G. King, 93, of Wadetown, WV died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at her residence.
She was born March 26, 1915 at Wadestown, WV a daughter of the late Marion M. King and Emma Haught King.
Ms. King was retired from Westinghouse in Fairmont where she worked for many years in the Seal Beam Department. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church of Crossroads.
