John P. Tennant, 79, of Jakes Run died Thursday, July 31, 2008 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born September 2, 1928 at Jakes Run, a son of the late Richard D. Tennant and Ida Mae McCord Tennant.
Mr. Tennant retired from the Federal #1 mine at Grant Town where he worked for 15 years. He last worked as a loading machine operator.
Iris C. Stewart, 55, of Hundred, WV died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown following a battle with cancer.
She was born December 2, 1952 at Mansfield, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harold Sellers and Ida Sellers.

Homer C. Parker, 73, of Hundred, WV died Monday, July 28, 2008 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born February 9, 1935 at Plum Run, near Mannington, WV, a son of the late Charles Parker and Icie M. Fluharty Parker.
Dick was a disabled truck driver and formerly worked for the Town of Fairview garbage department. He was a baptist by faith.
Iva Winona Roupe, age 76, of Texas City, Texas and formally of Mineral Wells, West Virginia, passed away at her residence on Saturday, July 26, 2008 with her son and daughter by her side. Iva was born March 1, 1932 to Rose (McCord) Eddy in Morgantown, West Virginia. Iva was a homemaker.
