Violet Barr, 82, of the Arbors at Fairmont Nursing Facility, and formerly of the Wadestown area, died Monday April 25, 2005 at the Fairmont General Hospital

Mrs. Barr was born March 5, 1923 at Wadestown, WV a daughter of the late Homer Tennant and Estella Howard Tennant Blue.

W. Elvy Gorby, 95, of Littleton, WV died Thursday, April 21, 2005 at his residence. He was born March 10, 1910 at Littleton, a son of the late Willie Gorby and Lona Woods Gorby.

Mr. Gorby was a farmer most of his life. He retired from the Wetzel County Board of Education with 32 years of service as a school bus driver. He attended the Mt. Herman United Methodist Church.

Gertrude Clovis Park Henderson, 94, of Camp Run Road, Wadestown, WV was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 18, 2005 at the home of her daughter in Macdale, WV.

Dennis Allen Barnhart, 49, of Deep Valley, PA died Saturday, April 16, 2005 at his residence.

He was born March 11, 1956 at Deep Valley, PA a son of Josephine Lough Barnhart of Deep Valley and the late James Barnhart.

Mr. Barnhart was a former school bus driver for Grim Bus Transportation of New Freeport and also formerly worked for Walls Sanitation Co. in Blacksville.

Christine Cumberledge, 72, of Morgantown, WV died Thursday, April 7, 2005 at her residence. She was born October 13, 1932 at Bula, WV a daughter of the late Homer L. Roush and Mary Rose Moore Roush.

Beatrice Rogers, 80, of Point Manor Personal Care Home in Point Marion, PA formerly of Daybrook, WV died Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at the personal care home.

She was born January 16, 1925 at Hinton, WV a daughter of the late Julius H Rider and Alice Jarvis Rider. Mrs. Rogers was a retired visiting homemaker from the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.

Garnet A. Gorby, 91, of Littleton, WV died Monday, April 4, 2005 in the Madison Rehab and Nursing Center in Morgantown.

She was born April 18, 1913 at Kodol, WV a daughter of the late Sylvester H. Williams and Minnie Lemasters Williams.

Charles D. Jones, 78, of Mooresville, WV died Sunday, April 3, 2005 at his residence following a lenghty illness.

Mr. Jones was born January 31, 1927 at Mooresville, WV a son of the late William Ira Jones and Zoa Tennant Jones.

Frances C. Hughes, 85, of New Freeport, PA died Thursday, March 31, 2005 at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg, PA. She was born August 25, 1919 in Brave, PA the daughter of the late John W. Wright and Ola McNeely Wright.

Mrs. Hughes was a homemaker and a Protestant by faith.

Richard Lee "Rick" Patton, II, 44, of Littleton, Colorado died March 24, 2005 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Rick was born January 14, 1961 in Charleston, WV a son of the late Richard "Dick" Lee Patton and Paula Carron Patton of Phoenix, Arizona.
