James Robbins, 87, of (Blue Goose Community) Fairview, WV died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at his residence.
He was born March 15, 1928 at Waynesburg, PA.
Mr. Robbins was a retired laborer from the laborers union as well as a retired coal miner. He was a member of UMWA District #31 of Fairmont.
Floyd “Hoy” Pyles, 86, of Silver Hill Community, New Martinsville, died Friday, October 23, 2015 at his residence.
He was born July 24, 1929 at Silver Hill, a son of the late Elmer Pyles and Minnie McFadden Pyles
Mrs. Pyles worked most of his life as a dairy farmer. He served in the United States Navy aboard the US Roosevelt.
Mildred Louise Moore Jones, 83, of Brave, PA died Friday, October 16, 2015 at her residence. She fought a courageous battle with cancer by not letting it define her. She lived her final days to the fullest.
She was born February 16, 1932 at Jerome, PA, a daughter of the late John Thomas Moore and Birdinia Mildred Hassenpflug Moore.
Hazel Marie Watson, 76, formerly of Jollytown, PA died Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in the Washington Hospital, Washington, PA.
She was born April 23, 1939 at Wadestown, WV, a daughter of the late James A. Barr and Goldie Jones Barr.
Mrs. Watson was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.
Richard Paul Jones passed away on October 8, 2015 in the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, of complications following cardiac bypass surgery. He was 66 years old.
Richard, known as Rick or “Ricky” to his family and friends, was born in Fairview on December 11, 1948.
On October 8, 2015 Robert (Bob) Berry, better known as Pap or Pappy by his family passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side.
He is survived by his loving wife Gail DeVine Berry. They had been married for 64 years and lived in Daybrook most of those years. He is also survived by a sister, Jean Wise, and a brother Fred Berry and his wife Barbara.
