He was born December 9, 1934 at Proctor, WV a son of the late John T. Hawkins and Mildred Francis Kimble Hawkins.
Mr. Hawkins was a retired truck drive from Alcan in Canada. He was a United States Army Veteran.

Mildred K. Stottlemire, 69, of Littleton, WV died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 in the Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV.
She was born November 1, 1939 at Hundred, WV, a daughter of the late Clyde Teagarden and Goldie Lancaster Teagarden.
Mrs. Stottlemire was a homemaker and a member of the Hundred Church of Christ.
Christopher Thomas "Tommy" Cork, 20, of Wadestown, WV, died Friday, June 12, 2009 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Tommy was born May 2, 1989, in Morgantown, a son of William Dale Cork and Debra Ann Bartrug Cork.
Dora Agnes Stutler, 105, of Fairmont, WV died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 in the Pierpont Center (Wishing Well Manor) in Fairmont.
She was born February 25, 1904 at Blandville, Doddridge County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Ralph Givens and Ollie Sherwood Givens.
Mrs. Stutler was a homemaker and a member of the Highland Avenue United Methodist Church.
James C. "Jimmie" Watson, 89, of Littleton, WV died Wednesday, May 27, 2009 in Sistersville Center Nursing Home.
He was born December 13, 1919 at Rockport, near Littleton, a son of the late William Watson and Mattie Gorby Wood.
Mr. Watson was a farmer and worked on Henderson Farms near Littleton for over 30 years.
Elma L. Roberts, 86, of Cameron, WV died Monday, May 18, 2009 in the Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale.
She was born March 23, 1923 at Littleton, WV, a daughter of the late George W. Jobes and Edith F. Oliver Jobes.
Mrs. Roberts was a homemaker and a devoted member of the Hundred Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Littleton High School.
Mary E. Barth, 95, of Hundred, WV died Sunday, April 19, 2009 in the Peterson Hospital in Wheeling, WV.
She was born February 12, 1914 at Parsons, WV, a daughter of the late Hugh Paugh and Effie Rachel Kitzmiller Paugh.
