Wilma Lee Derby, 66, of Smithfield, WV died Monday, May 9, 2016 in Fairmont Regional Medical Center.

She was born October 1, 1949 at New Martinsville, WV, a daughter of the late Enos Ater and Delia Greathouse Ater.

Mrs. Derby was a homemaker and a member of the Rice Ridge Community Church.

Marvin Milliron, 80, of Mooresville, WV died Saturday, May 7, 2016 at his residence.

He was born October 18, 1935 in Morgantown, a son of the late Orie J. Milliron and Leona Mae Stackhouse Milliron.

Marvin was a retired coal miner who last worked as a motorman. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Milliron was baptized in the Church of Christ.

Lula “Mantie” Barr, 81, of Jakes Run, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at her residence.

She was born June 16, 1934 at Jakes Run, a daughter of the late Russell Eddy and Gladys Stull Eddy.

Mrs. Barr was a homemaker and she loved gardening. She had been a member of TOPS for many years in the Jakes Run area.

Ziby J. Dixon, 94, of New Freeport, PA died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at his residence.

He was born November 11, 1921 at Columbus, Ohio.

Mr. Dixon was retired from the railroad.He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Raymond Eugene Copeland, 75, of Blacksville, went to be with his Savior April 14, 2016. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends.

He was born July 24, 1940 in Blacksville. Raymond was the son of John (Max) and Laura Tennant Copeland.

Danny Douglas Tennant, 71, of Core, WV died Monday, April 11, 2016 in the Washington Hospital, Washington, PA.

He was born October 11, 1944 at Jakes Run, a son of the late Wilbert Tennant and Mildred R. Eddy Tennant.

Mr. Tennant was a water treatment tech for the Federal Number 2 Mine on Miracle Run. He was a former member of the Jakes Run United Methodist Church.

Bob R. Chisler, 86, of Core, WV went home to be with his heavenly father Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.

He was born January 13, 1930 at Daybrook, a son of the late Cecil Chisler and Jewel Wilson Chisler.

Michael Scott Watson, 25, of Littleton, WV died Saturday, April 2, 2016 at his residence.

He was born August 29, 1990 at Waynesburg, PA, a son of Larry Watson, Jr and Lynette Nolan Tedrow of Littleton and Robert T. White of Cameron.

Rita Mae Brummage, 77, of Core, WV died Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in the Sundale Nursing Home.

She was born December 16, 1938 at Miracle Run, a daughter of the late James C. “Poker” Tuttle and Irene Bane Tuttle.

Mary Joann Eddy, 69, of Morgantown, WV died Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

She was born October 26, 1946 at Morgantown, a daughter of the late Joseph Velone Jr. and Emma Sago Velone.

Mrs. Eddy was a retired employee of Ruby Memorial Hospital. She worked as a cashier in the cafeteria.
