Mildred J. Shoemaker, 75, of Spraggs, PA died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg, PA.

She was born December 2, 1940, at Webster Springs, WV, a daughter of the late Kelly Cogar and Lelia Hall Cogar.

Mrs. Shoemaker worked at different nursing homes as a nursing aide. She spent most of her life taking care of other people.

Karl L. Grim, formerly of Hundred, WV, died peacefully Saturday evening, May 21, 2016 at his home in Fairmont.Karl was born on December 26, 1926 in New Freeport, PA, to John Walter Grim and Edith Hoy Grim.He was raised in New Freeport prior to serving in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Linda L. White, 59, of Littleton, WV died Saturday, May 21, 2016 at her residence.

She was born November 19, 1956 at New Martinsville, WV, a daughter of the late William Jobes and Mary Lou White Jobes.

Linda formerly worked as a custodian for the Wetzel County Board of Education.

She attended the Littleton Church of God and the Rice Ridge Community Church.

Nancy Lou "Molly" Tennant Dille, 72 passed away Tuesday May 17, 2016 at her home in Pentress, WV due to deteriorating health. She was a daughter of the late Mable Tennant Hamilton.

Anna Jean Kennedy, 85, of Bula, WV died Monday, May 16, 2016 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.

Jean was born June 28, 1930 at Mooresville, a daughter of the late George W. Johnson and Pearl E. Jones Johnson.

Mrs. Kennedy formerly worked as a cook for the Monongalia County Board of Education as well as a baker at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Alice Wise, 96, of Louisville, KY died Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Norton Audobon Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born June 10, 1919 at Fairview, WV, a daughter of the late Enos E. Tennant and Ottie E. McCord Tennant.

Mrs. Wise was retired from J. C. Penney where she worked as a cashier/clerk.

Ronnie Price, 76, of Fairview, died Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his residence.

He was born June 11, 1939 at Wadestown, a son of the late Clarence Price and Indiana Cross Price.

Mr. Price was a retired coal miner and former employee of the Blacksville #1 Mine. He was a member of Grace Fellowship in Wana.

Wilma Lee Derby, 66, of Smithfield, WV died Monday, May 9, 2016 in Fairmont Regional Medical Center.

She was born October 1, 1949 at New Martinsville, WV, a daughter of the late Enos Ater and Delia Greathouse Ater.

Mrs. Derby was a homemaker and a member of the Rice Ridge Community Church.

Marvin Milliron, 80, of Mooresville, WV died Saturday, May 7, 2016 at his residence.

He was born October 18, 1935 in Morgantown, a son of the late Orie J. Milliron and Leona Mae Stackhouse Milliron.

Marvin was a retired coal miner who last worked as a motorman. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Milliron was baptized in the Church of Christ.

Lula “Mantie” Barr, 81, of Jakes Run, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at her residence.

She was born June 16, 1934 at Jakes Run, a daughter of the late Russell Eddy and Gladys Stull Eddy.

Mrs. Barr was a homemaker and she loved gardening. She had been a member of TOPS for many years in the Jakes Run area.
