Steven Glen Hixenbaugh, friends know him as “Hixie” passed away in his home on Monday, January 12, 2026 in his home at the age of 77.  Steve was born on September 26, 1948 in Ravenna, Ohio.  He graduated from Howland High School.  Steve was drafted into the army in 1968 at age 19.  He served 4 years and was a radio operator in the Vietnam War and held an accommodation medal.

GEORGIA MARIE AGUES

          Georgia Marie Agues, 93, of Wadestown, WV died Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at her residence.

          She was born August 15, 1932 at Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Karl Canton and Angela Cmil Canton.

          Mrs. Agues was a retired baker.

SHIRLEY A. TITUS

          Shirley A. Titus, 88, of Big Run, died Friday, January 2, 2026 in the Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville.

          She was born February 5, 1937 at Big Run, a daughter of the late Edwin C. Rice and Florence A. Willey Rice.

          Mrs. Titus was a homemaker and a member of the Higgins Chapel Church of Christ.

DONALD A. SMITH

        Donald Andrew Smith, 55, of Littleton, WV died December 31, 2025 at his residence.

        He was born February 1, 1970, a son of the late Donald L. Smith and Anna Margaret Miscovich Smith.

        Mr. Smith was disabled.  He was a member of the Truth Assembly Chapel at Wadestown.

CAROL COPELAND

          Karen Carol Copeland, 74, of Burton, WV died Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

          She was born April 1, 1951, at Wadestown, a daughter of the late James P. Kennedy and Alberta Moore Kennedy.

EMMA CUPPY

          Emma Cuppy, 86, of Sistersville, WV died Thursday, December 18, 2025 in J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

          Mrs. Cuppy formerly lived in the Knob Fork, West Virginia area.

          Emma has been a resident of the Sistersville Center Nursing Facility for several years.

Rae Postlethwait

Zelphia Rae Postlethwait, 80, of Cameron, WV died Thursday, December 4, 2025 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale. She was born February 6, 1945 to the late Burnis Pyles in Silver Hill, WV.

          Rae spent her life as a mother and homemaker.

DEBORAH JEAN THOMAS

          Deborah Jean Thomas, 70, of Hundred, WV died Sunday, November 30, 2025 in Fairmont.

          She was born January 4, 1955 at Waynesburg, PA, a daughter of the late Alfred Cross and Billie Jean Wise Cross.

BILLIE LEE GORBY

          Billie Lee Gorby, 89, of Hundred, WV died Friday, November 28, 2025.  She was born July 7, 1936 to parents Ira W. and Austie O. Postlethwait Yoho in Wileyville, WV.                

MELISSA DANIELLE DEBOLT

          Melissa Danielle Debolt, 28, of Waynesburg, PA died Monday, November 17, 2025 at her residence.

          She was born March 27, 1997 at Punxsutawney, PA, a daughter of Roger Watson and Annette Wilson Watson.

          Melissa formerly worked as a housekeeper in a hotel.
